VIOLETTYNE (MIP) is a synthetic molecule with an ionone-green-floral-fruity character, combining the floral violet facets of ionone with fresh-green and light fruity nuances, making it a versatile and modern ingredient. Its olfactory profile is green-floral-fruity, with a slightly metallic-green violet note, a discreet fruity dimension, and the characteristic lightness of modified ionones, differing from classic ionones by greater freshness and transparency. In perfumery, Violettyne is incorporated into contemporary green floral accords, fresh-fruity eaux and signature compositions where a modern violet note is desired — less powdery than classic α-ionone and more dynamic.
