Terms of sale


These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) govern all product sales made via the website www.directpcw.com, operated by PCW.
Any order placed implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.
PCW reserves the right to amend the T&Cs at any time. The applicable version is the one in force on the date the order is placed.

3. Products and use
The products offered for sale are raw materials intended for perfumery and formulation.
They are not finished products and must be handled by individuals with the appropriate knowledge.
The customer is solely responsible for the use of the products, their storage and handling, compliance with applicable regulations, and the recommendations of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), where applicable.
PCW cannot be held liable in the event of inappropriate use of the products.

4. Website access
The customer is responsible for setting up the IT and telecommunications resources required to access the website.
Internet access costs remain the customer’s responsibility.
PCW does not guarantee continuous, secure, or error-free access to the website.

5. Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes where applicable.
Shipping fees are calculated at the time of order or communicated separately depending on the nature of the products, their weight, or their regulatory classification.
PCW reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced based on the prices in force at the time the order is validated.

6. Product information
Product descriptions, characteristics, and visuals are provided for information purposes only.
Despite the care taken, variations may occur, particularly due to supplier changes.
The customer is responsible for verifying that the products are suitable for their needs.

7. Orders
The order is considered final after payment validation and the sending of a confirmation email.
PCW reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of fraud, non-payment, obvious error, or previous dispute.
Computer records constitute valid proof of transactions.

8. Payment
Payment may be made by bank card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Payments are secured through encryption systems.
PCW reserves the right to request proof of identity or suspend any order in case of doubt regarding the transaction.
Any late payment may result in the application of penalties in accordance with applicable legislation.

9. Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Delivery times are estimated between 2 and 15 working days and are provided for information purposes only.
Delays may occur due to logistical constraints, customs procedures, or force majeure events.
For deliveries outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for customs duties, taxes, and local formalities.
Certain products may be classified as dangerous goods, which may involve transport restrictions, additional costs, or longer delivery times.

10. Delivery issues
The customer must check the condition of the parcel upon receipt.
Any issue, including missing products, damaged products, or errors, must be reported within 48 hours with supporting evidence.

11. Returns
Returns are accepted within 14 days from receipt, provided that the products are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except in the event of an error attributable to PCW.

12. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with European regulations, consumers have a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal.
This right does not apply to products that have been opened, used, or cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons.

13. Warranties
The customer benefits from the legal warranties of conformity and against hidden defects.
As PCW is not the manufacturer of all products, its liability is limited under the conditions provided by law.

14. Liability
PCW cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or misuse of the products.
No clause limits liability in cases where such limitation is prohibited by law.

15. Retention of title
The products remain the property of PCW until full payment of the price has been received.

16. Force majeure
PCW cannot be held liable in the event of circumstances beyond its control preventing the performance of its obligations, including strikes, natural disasters, or transport or network disruptions.

17. Data protection (GDPR)
PCW collects and processes personal data necessary for order management.
This data includes, in particular, identity, contact details, and order information.
It is used for order processing, customer service, and compliance with legal obligations.
The customer has the following rights: access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability.

18. Cookies
The website uses cookies to improve the user experience and analyse traffic.
The customer may manage their preferences via their browser.

19. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Grasse, France, unless otherwise provided by law.
