Egyptian Violet Leaf Absolute (Viola odorata) is one of the most vivid and recognizable natural raw materials in perfumery, solvent-extracted from leaves harvested in the Nile Valley, renowned for their exceptional richness in green ionones and 2,6-nonadienal. Its olfactory profile is intensely green-iris-like, with a fresh, slightly earthy crushed leaf note, a floral-ionic dimension, and a slightly oily-vegetal facet irreplaceable in grand green-floral compositions.
