Verdyl acetate is a synthetic raw material of Chinese origin, belonging to the green-fruity family. It has a fresh, green, and slightly fruity olfactory profile, with notes of cut grass, green violet, and a soft fruity-lactonic nuance. A top and middle note ingredient, it is integrated into green-floral accords, modern chypres, aquatics, and green fougères. Its versatility and natural character make it a widely used compounding ingredient — no IFRA restrictions (51st Amendment).
