Description

VANITROPE, or 4-propenyl-2-ethoxyphenol) is an unsaturated phenol with floral-powdery notes reminiscent of vanilla, heliotrope, and white flower, offering a more subtle and less heavy nuance than pure vanillin. Its olfactory profile is soft floral-powdery, slightly anisy-phenolic, with a light vanilla warmth and a creamy texture characteristic of aromatic phenols used in classic floral and powdery bases. In perfumery, it is integrated into floral-powdery accords, powdery-floral orientals, and heliotropin and marigold-type compositions, where its distinctive floral-vanilla-powdery note brings a retro and sophisticated dimension.
