Description

Undecatriene is an eleven-carbon triunsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon, naturally present in certain tropical fruits and vegetables, offering a very characteristic green-fruity note of exceptional olfactory power. Its olfactory profile is intensely green, with notes of crushed leaf, green passion fruit, and a slightly anised-metallic facet that evokes fresh greenery and slightly under-ripe exotic fruits. In perfumery, it is used in tiny traces in green-tropical accords, exotic fruit reconstructions, and contemporary vegetal top notes, where a few ppm are enough to transform the green dimension of an entire formula.
