Description

TRANS 2 HEXENAL is the green alcohol, naturally present in fresh leaves, cut grass, green vegetables, and many fruits. Its olfactory profile is a persistent green-herbaceous, with a wet grass note, a slightly fruity crushed leaf note, and a natural vegetal nuance, with a softer and longer-lasting diffusion than the corresponding aldehyde. In perfumery, it complements natural green accords, herbal-aromatic bouquets, and contemporary florals seeking an authentic vegetal dimension; it is also an important natural compound in "farm-to-bottle" compositions and ranges with a strong claimed naturalness.
