Description

Alpha-terpineol in PG grade (Pharmacopoeia/Cosmetic) is the main alpha isomer of terpene alcohols, exhibiting a noble woody-floral note with nuances of lilac, fresh cedarwood, and a slightly camphoraceous undertone, characteristic of Mediterranean aromatic plants. Its olfactory profile is elegantly floral-woody, soft, and diffusive, with a slightly resinous base, making it one of the most versatile terpene alcohols in perfumery. In perfumery and aromatics, it is indispensable in pine, cardamom, and lavender accords and is included in the composition of numerous basic formulas for cosmetics, detergents, and hygiene products.
