Description

TOLU BAUME RESINOIDE is obtained by solvent extraction of crude Myroxylon balsamum balm, concentrating the complete richness of this tropical American resin — benzoic esters, cinnamates, and free acids — into a more stable and easy-to-handle preparation. Its olfactory profile is intensely warm and balsamic, with notes of coumarin, light vanilla, cinnamon, and a medicinal-balsamic depth that evokes traditional pharmacopeias and classic 19th-century haute perfumery fragrances. In perfumery, it is a highly valued natural fixative-modifier for oriental accords, balsamic chypres, and gourmand floral accords.
