Description

THYME WHITE P&N ESSENTIAL OIL is a high-quality P&N (Pure & Natural) distillation of the flowering parts of this iconic Mediterranean herb. Its olfactory profile is powerfully herbaceous-aromatic, with phenolic notes of thymol and carvacrol, a slightly spicy and camphoraceous facet, and a marked persistence in the base notes of a composition. Thymol CT chemotypes have a more medicinal-camphoraceous note, while linalool CTs have a more floral and soft touch. In perfumery, it is used in the aromatic accords of classic fougères, aromatic-spicy masculines, and natural formulas dominated by Mediterranean aromatic herbs.
