Description

Tetrahydrolinalool is a synthetic raw material, of Chinese origin, belonging to the floral-woody family. It has a clean, slightly woody floral olfactory profile, with notes of sweet lavender, discreet lily of the valley, and a more stable woody-terpenic facet than the parent linalool. A heart ingredient, it is appreciated in perfumery and detergents for its persistent floral freshness and high chemical stability. It enriches fougères, lavenders, and versatile fresh compositions, with good resistance to alkaline and oxidizing formulations.
