Description

Terpinolene is a monocyclic monoterpene naturally found in the essential oils of pine, sage, citrus fruits, and some exotic fruits (mango). Its olfactory profile is woody-floral with fresh and slightly resinous notes reminiscent of fresh pine, and a slightly lemony and floral facet that distinguishes it from other monoterpenes. In perfumery, it contributes to the construction of top notes in woody-coniferous accords, aromatic fougères, and fresh masculine eaux; its volatile freshness makes it a highly appreciated initial impression accelerator.
