Description

Australian tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) is distilled from the leaves and terminal twigs of this tree native to New South Wales, standardized according to ISO 4730 to guarantee its composition in terpinen-4-ol (≥30%) and 1,8-cineole (<15%). Its olfactory profile is herbaceous, camphoraceous-medicinal with fresh, slightly spicy notes and a discreet woody base, characteristic of high terpinen-4-ol oils. In aromatherapy and perfumery, it is valued in hair care, hygiene products, sport scents, and fresh aromatic compositions where its purifying properties and strong botanical character are sought after.
