Description

Colorless Tolu balsam is Myroxylon balsamum (South American tree) balsam that has undergone a decolorization treatment to remove brown-red pigments while preserving its aromatic integrity. Its olfactive profile is a delicate balsamic-gourmand, with notes of sweet vanilla, light cinnamon, benzoin, and a slightly warm medicinal facet reminiscent of traditional throat lozenges and exceptional natural balms. In perfumery, this colorless version is preferred in clear formulas and cosmetic products where the natural balsam's coloring would pose aesthetic problems, while providing the same rich balsamic aromatic base.
