Description

Styrax Vulcan essential oil is extracted from the wood and bark of the styrax tree (Liquidambar orientalis), a resinous tree from Asia Minor, by steam distillation. Its olfactory profile is richly balsamic, warm, and slightly medicinal, with notes of cinnamon, frankincense, and sweet resin, a slightly floral facet, and a styrene base that gives it an inimitable character among natural gum resins. In perfumery, it is a precious ingredient in oriental and balsamic accords, sensual eaux de parfum, and compositions inspired by classic perfumery, where it brings warmth, depth, and longevity.
