Description

STYRAX is a distillate obtained by dry pyrolysis of styrax balsam (Liquidambar sp.), resulting in a more intense, smoky, and phenolic olfactory profile than classic essential oil. Its character is deeply balsamic, with nuances of sweet tar, smoky incense, light leather, and warm coumarin-like notes that evoke oriental and leathery atmospheres. In perfumery, this pyrogenated essence is used for its tenacious base notes in leather compositions, smoky-oriental accords, and eau de parfums with a deep and enveloping structure.
