Description

SAFRANAL is a synthetic raw material from the spicy-hay family. It has a warm, aromatic olfactory profile, with characteristic notes of saffron, slightly medicinal cut hay, and a distinctive terpenic-aldehydic facet. As the main odorant compound of saffron, it is used in natural saffron reconstructions, spicy oriental accords, leathers, and modern compositions with a saffron profile. Its high olfactory intensity requires very precise dosing at a few ppm – a powerful signature ingredient that radically transforms the identity of a composition.
