Description

RIBES MERCAPTAN 1% in DPG is an extremely powerful sulfurous olfactory material, reproducing the characteristic catty-cassis note of blackcurrant bud (Ribes nigrum). Its olfactory profile is fruity, slightly catty, and very characteristic cassis-bud, with the subtle yet unmistakable sulfurous note of blackcurrant bud. The 1% dilution in DPG facilitates its handling and allows for precise dosing of this extremely potent olfactory molecule. Used in micro-dosing in modern fruity-chypre creations, cassis accords, and major contemporary creations, it brings the irreplaceable catty-cassis note to sophisticated fruity-floral compositions.
