Description

Pine Needle essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of fresh needles of Pinus sylvestris or other pine species. Its olfactive profile is woody, slightly aromatic and fresh, with the characteristic note of Scots pine – fresh, resinous and slightly camphoraceous – and a very authentic natural, sylvan dimension. Used in woody-forest creations, masculine fougères, and outdoors accords, it brings a natural freshness of conifer forests that is immediately recognizable. It pairs well with cedars, lavender, and fresh musks in natural and fresh compositions with a Nordic or alpine spirit. A reference for pine forest accords.
