Description

LEMON PETITGRAIN essential oil is obtained by distilling the leaves and twigs of Citrus limon. Its olfactive profile is hesperidic, slightly green and floral, with the characteristic lemon petitgrain note — more lemony and fresher than bitter orange petitgrain — and a very pleasant natural greenness. Subject to restrictions under the 51st IFRA amendment due to certain potentially sensitizing components, it must be used within regulatory thresholds depending on the type of application. Used in hesperidic-green creations and fresh fougères, it brings a very natural lime-lemon note. It combines with lemons, bergamots, and fresh musks.
