Description

Parsley seed essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the seeds of Petroselinum crispum. Its olfactive profile is green, slightly herbaceous, and characterized by a vegetal freshness, with the natural parsley note—slightly apiol and authentically green—and a distinctive culinary aromatic dimension. Used in aromatic-herbaceous creations, fresh herb accords, and avant-garde naturalistic compositions, it brings a very authentic natural vegetal note. Artisan perfumers use it in botanical and gastronomic creations. Its dosage must be precise due to its olfactive power and its apiol content, which can be irritating in high doses.
