Description

PARACRESOL is a phenolic compound naturally present in animal secretions (castoreum, civet, ambergris), certain cheeses and coffee. Its olfactory profile is animalic, slightly phenolic, and intensely characteristic, with notes of natural musk and a deeply animalic dimension. At infinitesimal doses, it brings an incomparable natural animalic quality to compositions. Used in micro-dosing in leather-animalic accords, classic chypres, and grand animalic creations, it contributes to the "warm body" effect of classic sensual perfumes. Its power requires expert dosing. It is one of the natural components of natural ambergris.
