PALMAROSA OIL INDE
Documents
Description
Indian palmarosa essential oil is obtained by distillation of the leaves of Cymbopogon martinii cultivated in India. Its olfactive profile is floral, slightly rosy, and has a characteristic natural sweetness, with a pure natural geraniol note and a very pleasant floral-rose freshness. India is the world's leading producer of palmarosa. Rich in geraniol (75-90%), it is an important natural source of this florally precious material. Used in natural rose reconstitutions, fresh florals, and as a natural source of geraniol, it brings a very natural rose note. It blends harmoniously with geraniums, bergamots, and soft musks.
