Description

Paracresyl acetate is the acetic ester of paracresol, offering a softer and more accessible animal-floral profile than pure paracresol. Its olfactory profile is animalic, slightly floral, and characteristic of a softened animalic note, with a distinctive animal flower note reminiscent of classic chypre-animalic creations. Acetylation mitigates the phenolic note of paracresol while preserving its natural animalic character. Used in leather-animalic accords, classic chypres, and creations with a strong animalic identity, it provides a sophisticated and controlled animalic quality. Precise dosing is essential to harness its qualities without phenolic saturation.
