Description

Methyl octine carbonate is an ester from the octine carbonate family, offering a very distinctive green-fruity-floral olfactory profile. Its olfactory profile is green, slightly fruity and floral, with a violet-flower note and a very distinctive characteristic greenness. It is one of the most powerful and distinctive green-floral compounds in perfumery. Used in extremely low doses in green-floral, aquatic, and natural violet compositions, it brings a unique and highly recognizable green-flower note. Its extreme potency (very low perception threshold) requires millimeter-precise dosing. It is irreplaceable for the "fresh violet flower" effect in major creations.
