Description

Nerolione is a 14-membered macrocyclic ketone belonging to the macrocyclic musk family, but with a distinct olfactory profile – more floral and less purely musky. Its olfactory profile is floral, slightly musky, and has a very pleasant natural delicacy, with orange blossom-musk nuances that give it a unique character at the crossroads of florals and musks. Used in contemporary floral-musk creations, light feminine fragrances, and "flowery skin" type compositions, it brings a very attractive floral-musk dimension. It combines harmoniously with neroli, white florals, and macrocyclic musks in refined compositions.
