Description
Myrcene is a natural (isolated from turpentine, hops, verbena) or synthetic terpene, from the terpene family. Its olfactory profile is slightly woody-herbal, slightly balsamic, and slightly spicy. Used as a fundamental synthesis intermediate in perfumery (precursor of geraniol, linalool, nerol, etc.) and as a terpene component in woody blends. Usual dosage: 0.5 to 5%.
