Description

P&N 100% quality nutmeg essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of Myristica fragrans seeds. Its olfactory profile is spicy, slightly woody, and warm, with the characteristic note of freshly grated nutmeg — spicy, slightly camphoraceous, and with a distinctive oriental warmth. Primarily produced in the Dutch East Indies, Indonesia, and the Caribbean, nutmeg is a valuable spice in perfumery. Used in oriental-spicy creations, masculine scents with character, and fougère-spicy accords, it brings an authentic spicy warmth. It pairs with clove, cinnamon, and amber notes in warm and enveloping compositions.
