Description

METHYL HEPTENONE is an unsaturated ketone naturally present in several hesperidic essential oils, notably Bergamot and citronella. Its olfactory profile is hesperidic, slightly green, and has a natural lemony freshness, with a sweet citronella note and a characteristic terpenic lightness. Used in fresh-hesperidic creations, lemony aromatics, and naturalistic compositions, it brings a very natural and dynamic lemony-green note. It harmoniously combines with citrus, mints, and green musks in light fresh compositions. Its presence in Bergamot and citronella reinforces its naturalistic positioning.
