Description
MALTOL is a synthetic (or natural, isolated from malt and larch) raw material belonging to the gourmand-caramel family. Its olfactory profile is soft, caramel, slightly fruity-jammy, slightly biscuity, and sweet. It is a fundamental ingredient in gourmand, caramel, strawberry-jam accords, and sweet oriental compositions. Highly modifying at low doses. Usual dosage: 0.05 to 0.5%.
