Description

Alpha hexyl cinnamaldehyde is a synthetic raw material from the floral-jasmine family. It has a generous and enveloping floral olfactory profile, with slightly honeyed notes of white jasmine and magnolia. One of the most widely used floral aldehydes in the world, it structures jasmine accords, oriental white florals, and many feminine creations. Powerful and very tenacious, it is subject to IFRA restrictions due to its potential for skin sensitization — its regulatory compliance is imperative in all cosmetic and perfume applications.
