Description

INDOL is a synthetic or natural raw material from the floral-animal family. Its olfactory profile has two facets: at very low doses, it provides an exquisite white floral facet reminiscent of jasmine, tuberose, and orange blossom; at high doses, it becomes fecal and animalic. An essential ingredient in classic and modern fine perfumery, it is the key molecule of jasmine absolute and neroli. Use with extreme precision (0.01–0.3%) in white floral, chypre, and oriental accords.
