Description

Isobutyl salicylate is a synthetic raw material, part of the floral-balsamic family. It has a slightly balsamic, floral-orchid olfactory profile with fresh white flower notes, discreet lily of the valley, and a subtle balsamic-medicinal facet. A heart ingredient, it is used in floral-balsamic accords, orchids, and feminine compositions with a natural-floral profile. Less intense than amyl salicylate, it offers a softer and more accessible floral note, widely used in fine perfumery and cosmetic products.
