Description

Hydratropic aldehyde dimethyl acetal is the acetal form of hydratropic aldehyde, offering a more stable and versatile floral profile. Its olfactory profile is floral, slightly sweet and more stable than the free aldehyde, with delicate white flower notes preserved over a long period. The acetal form gradually releases the active aldehyde, creating a controlled and prolonged diffusion effect. Used in white floral creations requiring increased stability and persistence (soaps, detergents, rinse-off products), it is particularly suitable for formulations with variable pH. Its improved chemical stability makes it applicable where the free aldehyde would be too reactive.
