HEXYL HEXANOATE is a medium-chain ester offering a particularly pleasant fruity-creamy olfactory profile. Its scent is fruity, slightly fatty, and creamy, with a note of ripe tropical fruits—especially mango—and a naturally velvety texture. Found in tropical fruits and some dairy products, it contributes to the naturalness of exotic accords. Used in fruity-tropical creations, creamy gourmands, and mango-floral accords, it provides a very appealing natural fruity roundness. Its low volatility makes it suitable for creamy heart and base accords. It harmonizes well with soft musks and creamy lactones.
