Description

Rectified Gurjun essential oil is obtained by distillation and rectification of Dipterocarpus spp. resin, from tropical trees in Southeast Asia. Its olfactory profile is balsamic, slightly woody, and resinous, with a natural sweetness and the depth of a rare tropical tree. Classified without restrictions by IFRA (50th amendment), it can be freely used in all applications. Used as a natural substitute for copaiba balm in oriental-balsamic creations and woody-resin bases, it brings a valuable natural depth. Its rectification guarantees a standardized composition and superior olfactory stability compared to crude essential oil.
