Chinese Ginger essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh rhizomes of Zingiber officinale cultivated in China. Its olfactive profile is spicy, slightly citrusy and fresh, with the characteristic pungent-lemony note of ginger and an authentic aromatic warmth. China is one of the world's leading producers of ginger. Used in oriental-spicy creations, aromatic fougères and ginger-citrus accords, it brings a highly prized natural spicy warmth. It harmonizes well with pepper, cardamom and citrus fruits in spicy masculine creations or modern unisex fragrances.
