Geranyl butyrate is the butyric ester of geraniol, offering a full-bodied fruity-floral profile. Its olfactory profile is fruity, slightly floral, and characteristically fruity-sweet, with a more pronounced rose-fruity note than geranyl acetate. The longer butyrate chain imparts greater substantivity and a creamy-fruity character.
