Description

GAIAC ACETATE is an ester derived from guaiacol, offering a very fine woody-smoky olfactory profile. Its olfactory profile is woody, slightly smoky, and balsamic, with a sweet guaiac wood note and elegant resinous transparency. Less phenolic than pure guaiacol, it provides a softer and easier-to-handle woody-smoky note in formulation. Used in woody-smoky creations, modern leathers, and precious wood accords, it brings depth and sophistication. It combines harmoniously with cedar, vetiver, and woody musks for masculine creations of great distinction. Its skin stability is better than free guaiacol.
