Description

Ethyl pelargonate is a medium-chain ester with a very pleasant fruity-citrus olfactory profile. Its scent is fruity, slightly rosy, and citrusy, with a ripe pear-peach note and subtle freshness. Naturally present in some roses and fruits, it contributes to the authenticity of natural fruity-floral accords. Used in modern fruity-floral creations, contemporary chypres, and fruity-rose compositions, it brings a natural fruity dimension and great versatility. Its moderate volatility gives it a harmonious presence from the heart to the base notes. It blends well with geraniums, soft musks, and fruity lactones.
