Description

Tarragon essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and stems of Artemisia dracunculus. Its olfactory profile is aromatic, slightly anisy and herbaceous, with a sweet fennel note and a distinctive green-herbaceous facet. Widely used in fougère accords, fresh herbaceous scents, and aromatic masculines, it brings a natural greenness and characteristic aromatic complexity. It harmonizes well with lavender, basil, and citrus in Cologne or "eau fraîche" type compositions. Its recognizable tarragon note adds a culinary-aromatic dimension that enriches fresh herb accords in modern unisex perfumes.
