Description

Ethylene brassylate is one of the most widely used and appreciated macrocyclic musks in contemporary perfumery. This 15-membered macrolide has a clean, musk-like, and exceptionally delicate olfactory profile, with a warm sweetness and prized crystalline transparency. With remarkable substantivity and airy diffusion, it is used in creations of all styles — floral, oriental, woody, aquatic — to provide a luxurious musk base. Considered one of the most natural and finest musks available, it is found in many prestige perfumes. Its compatibility with almost all olfactory families makes it an essential base note.
