Description

DOWANOL TPNB is a solvent from the glycol ether family, used in perfumery as a formulation aid. Practically odorless, it is primarily employed for its solvent properties and its good miscibility with fragrance materials, alcohols, and oils. It exhibits excellent chemical stability and low volatility, making it a useful vehicle for ambient fragrance formulations and scented cleaning products. Its ability to solubilize difficult materials (resins, poorly soluble musks) makes it valuable in technical formulation. Its use complies with current regulatory standards for cosmetic products.
