Description

DMBC acetate is the acetic ester of dimethyl benzyl carbinol, offering a characteristic light floral-fruity profile. Its scent is floral, slightly fruity, and more volatile than the corresponding alcohol, with notes of spring white flowers and a subtle fruity freshness. Esterification gives it greater volatility and a more ethereal character than free DMBC. Used in white floral, light chypre, and fresh spring compositions, it brings vibrancy and floral lightness. It combines well with lilials, transparent musks, and soft aldehydes for creations of great finesse.
