Description

DIHYDROEUGENOL is a reduced derivative of eugenol, offering a softer, less pungent spicy profile than its precursor. Its scent is spicy, slightly woody, and warm, with a softened clove note and a slightly balsamic nuance that makes it easier to work with. Used in spicy-woody accords, orientals, and distinctive masculine fragrances, it provides a clove warmth without the harshness of pure eugenol. It pairs well with benzyl benzoate, ambers, and resins in deep, enveloping compositions.
