Description

Delta-decalactone is a lactone naturally found in many stone fruits, including peaches, apricots, and nectarines. Its olfactory profile is fruity, creamy, and slightly lactonic, with a velvety roundness and a characteristic ripe peach note. Endowed with excellent substantivity, it is used in floral-fruity creations, oriental-gourmand compositions, and peach-blossom type accords. Perfumers appreciate its ability to bring roundness and sensuality to fruity compositions. It harmonizes well with citrus notes, white florals, and milky musks in modern sensual creations. It contributes to the natural and gourmand character of fragrances.
