Description

DAMASCONE BETA is the most common isomer of damascones, a floral-fruity ketone naturally present in roses and various fruits. Its olfactive profile is floral, fruity, and slightly woody, with a golden rose and ripe plum tonality more assertive than alpha-damascone. Used in rose reconstructions, floral-fruity, and sophisticated feminine fragrances, it brings complexity and natural depth. Its potency is very high, and its dosage should remain minimal. It contributes to "Oriental rose" accords with a slightly spicy warmth. A discreet yet crucial base note, it enhances the overall composition.
