Description

Damascenone is an exceptionally powerful fragrance molecule naturally found in roses, grapes, and many fruits. Its olfactory profile is floral-fruity and remarkably complex: in infinitesimal doses, it reveals a rosy-fruity facet with nuances of plum and tobacco, contributing to the olfactory signature of Bulgarian rose. Used in micro-dosing in rose reconstructions, fresh fruit accords, and orientals, it amplifies the floral complexity of accords and strengthens base notes. Given its extreme olfactory power (very low perception threshold), precise dosing is essential to exploit its qualities without saturation.
