Description

DIMETHYL ACETAL CITRAL is an acetal derivative of the citral molecule, offering a more stable and less volatile citrus profile than citral itself. Its scent is lemony, fresh, and slightly floral, with a light lemon-blossom note and superior persistence compared to citral. Particularly useful in formulations requiring a stable citrus top note (alkaline products, laundry fragrances), it provides the citrus accord without the reactivity problems of free citral. Used in fresh citrus, aquatic, and citrus-floral accords, it is valued for its formulation stability. It combines harmoniously with soft aldehydes and fresh musks.
