Description

Cypriol essential oil, also known as nagarmotha, is obtained by distilling the tubers of Cyperus scariosus or Cyperus rotundus. Its olfactory profile is woody, slightly earthy and smoky, with distinct spicy-resinous nuances reminiscent of vetiver and patchouli. Classified without restrictions by IFRA (50th amendment), it can be used freely in all applications. Particularly prized in oriental perfumery and Arab and Indian compositions, it brings an authentic and rare smoky-woody depth. It enriches oud-woody accords, dark orientals, and naturalistic eco-friendly creations. Its substantivity is excellent.
